Well, well, well. It's not even ruddy Boot Camp time for
this season's X Factor and there's *already* some amazing celeb based goss to
go mental over - that usual only happens once the live shows kick off and everything
turns a bit Hunger Games.
But this year, the gossip's starting early because
contestant Lydia Lucy's revealed that she used to date none other than Nathan
bloody Sykes off of The Wanted - and they even went to *prom* together. SORRY
WHAT.
That's right, it looks like Lydia's actually gone and lived
every girl's dream because her and Nathykins used to get romantic at school
together and are probably now contenders for our favourite prom king and queen
ever - competing against Cady Heron and Aaron Samuels and Troy Bolton and
Garbriella Montez, obviously.
Speaking to Now magazine, Lydia spilled the deets about the
pair's relationship, which started back when the two were just 15 at Sylvia
Young Theatre School, saying: "We had a close relationship but within
months of leaving school, Nathan was in The Wanted. The distance was too
difficult."
But the two stayed pals once they split up, with L-Luce even
supporting him through his dramatic throat surgery recovery. She added: "I
spoke to him when he was in hospital and he was having a hard time. He was
abroad, so I couldn't see him but Nathan's doing amazing now." GAH, so
cute.
Well, that 'proud' tweet Nath sent to Lyds makes a load more
sense now, doesn't it? But even if The Eyebrowed One *did* want to reconcile
his old romance with Lydia, he might be out of luck - because she's now very much in a relationship
with someone who isn't a famous boyband member. You snooze you lose, kid.
