Wanted
hunk Siva Kaneswaran has told how he is living a dream life after signing up
for a new reality show with the makers of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The
Dubliner’s band are following in the footsteps of The Saturdays with a
three-month reality show that will air next month on the E! channel in the US.
Titled
The Wanted Life, the show will follow the band’s attempts to cement their
position in the US market, having already scored Top 10 success with their
single Glad You Came.
American
Idol host Ryan Seacrest, who turned the Kardashians into global superstars, is
behind the project.
Siva
(24), who is the brother of model Gail Kaneswaran, said the band had been flown
to some exotic locations to film the show.
“Filming
scenes of the show has been a pretty incredible experience. Having the cameras
follow up around 24/7 has meant we’ve got to do a lot of cool stuff,” he said.
Siva
and his bandmates have been put up in a house in the Hollywood Hills by the
production company.
Traditionally,
boyband members are advised to keep their single status but Siva revealed his
long-time girlfriend Nareesha also features in the new show.
He
said: “Luckily, Nareesha and Tom’s girlfriend Kelsey joined us so we’ve not
been feeling that homesick. Me and Nareesha got to chill in the Bahamas and we
got to swim with dolphins.”
He also
revealed that The Wanted have been rubbing shoulders with pop brat Justin
Bieber while recording their new album in LA.
“We
worked on a song with Justin Bieber,” he told Top of the Pops magazine.
