But Max George was left feeling more than a little red-faced on Tuesday night when cheeky chat show host Chelsea Handler grilled him about the nature of his relationship with the troubled starlet.

The 25-year-old singer was joined on the Chelsea Lately sofa by bandmates Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Siva Kaneswaran as they sat down to promote their new E! reality show, The Wanted Life.

And it wasn't long before the 38-year-old comedienne got onto the subject of Max's brief fling with the 26-year-old actress.

Leaving the Mancunian singer positively squirming in his seat, she said: 'Which one of you was penetrating Lindsay Lohan? Was that you?'

Instead of confessing all to the outspoken talk show host, naughty Max chose to blame the dalliance on fifth The Wanted member Nathan Sykes, who is currently resting while he recovers from throat surgery.

While he refused to elaborate on his relationship with Lindsay, Max and fellow The Wanted singleton Jay weren't too shy to admit they like to go on the 'prowl' a little when it comes to woman.

Jay, who looked dapper in an AllSaints Crawley Leather Biker jacket, admitted: 'We prowled a little bit!'

That's Siva Kanaswaren, 1/5 of The Wanted. What a looker, right? We once even described him as a Sri Lankan Ken doll, and now that we think about it, that description has never been more fitting. Hottie of the day status for sure.

Busy day all around as they promote the show. But considering Siva was a model before he joined the boy band, he certainly knows what he's doing behind the camera so we're not too worried.
