Max George has revealed that he was saved by a cameraman after nearly drowning on a drunken night.
The Wanted star explained that he often didn't worry about being filmed for his band's reality show The Wanted Life because he had drunk so much alcohol.
Promoting the series at a screening in London, George said: "It wasn't that we weren't aware we were being filmed, it was just that we were so intoxicated we didn't really care.
"I owe a massive thank you to our night cameraman. He actually saved my life one night."
George acknowledged that his bandmate Nathan Sykes helped out as well but "wasn't strong enough to pick [him] up".
"I went underwater in the middle of the night one night in the hot tub and didn't know," he explained. "[The cameraman] came and dragged my wrinkled, naked body out of the hot tub."
While Tom Parker quipped "That's when you know you've got a problem", Sykes complained: "It was this poor sod who had to put him to bed."
The Wanted Life premieres in the UK on Monday, June 24 at 9pm on E! The show continues in the US on Sundays on E!
