‘We’re massively excited about our new single “We Own The Night”,’ said
Sykes, who revealed, ‘ It takes us right back to the sound which everyone knows
us for and sets the mood for the album.’
His bandmate Tom Parker said the record has been a long slog after they
were forced to record without Sykes as he recovered before finishing the tracks
late so he could feature on the comeback sounds.
‘It’s taken us two years to make this album and now that it’s finally
finished we are all really proud of the time and effort, not just that we put
in to it but all the writers and the label too,’ said Parker.
The 24-year-old promised: ‘We think it’s our strongest album to date. We
can’t wait for our fans to hear it. They’ve been really patient but hopefully
they’ll think it’s worth the wait!’
The lads have been distracted from the studio after filming their E!
reality show ‘The Wanted Life’ which documents their shenanigans with the
ladies.
They are set to hit the road with Call Me Maybe singer Carly Rae Jepsen.
