Max
George has confirmed that he has recorded a collaboration with Flo Rida – yes
Flo Rida!
During
an interview with Capital FM, the 25-year old hunk revealed that the band
are beginning to work on solo projects,
explaining: “We're doing little bits here and there and I recorded a song in
America a couple of months ago with another artist."
He went
on to reveal: “I actually did a song with Flo Rida – the rap in it's
hilarious.”
George
isn't the first TW member to record a solo track, with Nathan Sykes previously
teaming up with girlfriend Ariana Grande on duet, Almost Is Never Enough.
Although
The Wanted may be working on solo projects, the lads are due to embark on their
first world tour in support of their third studio LP Word Of Mouth in 2014.
"I
actually did a song with Flo Rida - the rap in it is hilarious."
However,
fans hoping for a sneak peak of the song might be waiting a while.
Max
admitted he hasn't even heard the finished product himself yet, and hasn't had
a chance to listen to it since their session.
He
added: "I've not actually heard it since I went in and did it."
The
singer - who was taking a break from getting half-naked in forests - also joked
about speculation the group would be splitting up.
He
said: "We've got our first world tour coming up ... So let's do that, and
let's split up at the end of that."
