The Jonas Brothers didn't just leave longtime fans' hearts
"shattered into a million pieces" when they announced their split;
they also left fellow boy band The Wanted in a state of disbelief.
On the day of their album release, Word of Mouth, Max George, Tom
Parker, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness dropped by "Live
From MTV," where they performed two songs. And when one fan asked them
which band or artist they would want to have a conversation with, Siva had the
former trio on his mind.
"I would love to speak to the Jonas Brothers," Siva
said, admitting he and the guys were surprised over the breakup. "They're
still the Jonas Brothers like a family. I would like to speak to them and see
what happened and see what the story is, get involved, get in deep and
talk."
Just last week, the Jonas Brothers officially announced they were
"closing a chapter," citing a "deep rift within the band,"
after abruptly cancelling their tour. In a letter posted on their Facebook
page, the JoBros told fans that even though it was a difficult decision to
make, they were "choosing to simply be brothers."
Whatever happens with the Jonas Brothers, Tom Parker hopes they
can overcome their differences. "It's weird because they are family so you
don't really know the severity of it," Tom said, adding that fellow E!
star, Kevin Jonas is "probably the nicest guy I've ever met." "I
just hope they still stay close because obviously family is family."
