Union J are hoping they can end the ongoing feud between One Direction and The Wanted as they vow to ‘make them friends’ again.

The Carry You singers believe boybands should ‘stick together’ and think it’s about time the feisty lads ended their spat.

‘We’re hoping we could bring One Direction and The Wanted together and get them to make friends again. We’ll stand in the middle so they don’t have a scrap,’ said 22-year-old Jaymi Hensley.

‘We’ve lost JLS… us boybands have to stick together. We need love and lots of hugs – not fighting.’

On the subject of JLS splitting, 20-year-old Josh Cuthbert said: ‘They’ve done so well. But they know the time is right for them to go.’
The X Factor rejects are also hoping that the 1D singers will collaborate with them in the future, creating one giant boyband.

Cuthbert added to Star magazine: ‘We could do something with One Direction – it would be massive, there would be so many of us on stage.’
