The Wanted singer
Jay McGuiness has quipped that being named in their newest song title is
probably the "pinnacle of [Rihanna's]
career".
The
chart-topping band's 'Walks Like Rihanna' is a nod to the international
superstar's charm and beauty.
McGuiness
has joked that the singer is probably thrilled with the acknowledgment, telling
the US edition of OK! magazine: "She's worked for that song, this is the
pinnacle of her career!"
The Wanted also
comprises Siva Kaneswaran, Max George, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes -who
is currently recovering from surgery on his vocal cords.
George
added that Rihanna is one of his "dream girls".
He
gushed: "She's up there. She's got to be up there. She's gorgeous. And
she's just a huge star now, so [the song is] a tribute to Rihanna."
The Wanted are
currently in the US promoting their new E! reality TV show 'The Wanted Life.'
They were filmed as they recorded their third album in LA and loved living it
up in a house together.
When
asked which other boyband member they would pick to join them in their abode if
they had the chance, McGuiness chimed: "A.J from Backstreet Boys."
When
his decision was challenged by band member Kaneswaran, explaining that he
wouldn't "because he's sober", McGuiness retorted: "So, you
don't judge a man on how much he drinks! I certainly don't!"
George
revealed he'd like Justin Timberlake to join them.
