The Wanted with Amy Winehouse three days later she died
The Wanted revealed they were the last people to have their
picture taken with the late Amy Winehouse, just three days before her death.
The Walks Like Rihanna singers met Winehouse when her
goddaughter Dionne Bromfield supported the fivesome at their gig in Camden,
north London, as part of the iTunes Festival in 2011.
Recounting the experience, Siva Kaneswaran, 24, told Guilty
Pleasures: ‘We were the last band to have our picture taken with Amy.
‘You could tell she loved Dionne so much, it’s just so sad.
She just looked like she wanted to sleep and then three days later she was
gone.’
The Rehab singer gave her final performance when she made a
surprise appearance on stage with Bromfield at the Roundhouse venue.
